Interesting how I'm the only one in the picture actually drawing anything . . .

This view, well . . . if not prominent, it's at least vocal. About once a week I'll come across someone griping about WAAAH THIS DOESN'T DESERVE FRONT PAGE or THE POPULAR SECTION NEEDS MORE UNDER-APPRECIATED ARTISTS AND BY "UNDER-APPRECIATED" I MEAN "ME" WAAAH.

Seriously, people. You can have whatever opinions of someone's art/attitude/preferred content you want, but it's not like they're hacking into your account and stealing all your pageviews. Attention is not a limited resource.

Notice how my hair changes in fluffiness so drastically from panel to panel. JUST LIKE IN REAL LIFE! :[)

Mm. It's like, seriously, if you want to spice up the talent pool in the Popular section, DRAW ATTENTION TO THINGS. 'swhy I do all them features and journal plugs and what not.

Nobody's gonna get popular if nobody's ever seen their stuff! x3

I know. I mean, okay. Sooo about 2 years ago here on DA, I drew nothing but anime fanart (i was a pathetic n00b D: ) I got like, 20 favs on each deviation a day. All because of my NAH-ROO-TOE and EE-NOO-YASHA fanart.

But now as I've grown with my art skills, I draw more and more of original and fine art...and noone gives a damn? noone really ever comments/ critiques my stuff anymore. Its ticking me off.
