Ah, Naruto AUs. Aren't they fun? Still, after a while, one notices that nearly all of them follow one of these themes:
1) A high school. 2) An all-boys high school. 3) An all-boys high school for magicians. So I figured, if I'm going to do some AU-y antics, why not set them in a place rarely ventured by AU-ers: A grocery store? And so this picture serves as an introduction to that "Grocerverse", as I have so lovingly dubbed it. :B |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Also, there is this thing I do, which is probably more apparent in the full-full-size version of this, which is perhaps twice as large as the one here . . . I set down one light color, then put a darker color within that light one, and then shade within the dark color . . . sort of like a color-outline within a line-outline, or some such? :]
Sasuke: "Yeah, when I hit that home run, the crowd went wild."
Sakura: "Really, Sasuke-kun?! That is soooo interesting!"

Plus it's nice to make people hunt for visual Easter Eggs. x[)
Oh, I know! So often they'll take one aspect of a character (ie, Lee is jumpy.) and ignore all the other aspects. (Lee is also a sweetie, determined, etc.)
I myself plan on keeping things fairly close to canon . . . and, in some areas, obscenely different. x[)
Mnope, just some lady on that magazine there. Though Tsunade does factor in! x3
