For those of you just joining us, the premise is simple: Every week Neko compiles a collection of fanart, both from reader suggestions and what I like to call "fandom hunts." then she whittles away at them until the only ones left are those with under 100 faves. That's right, everything posted here fits within that 0-99 fave range so loved by astronomers.
And speaking of people preoccupied with heavenly bodies, today's Hidden Gems focuses on that sailor-skirted champion of justice, Sailor Moon! One of the most iconic anime of the nineties, most every geek-girl (And several geek-guys.) between the age of 13 and 30 can trace their first geeky spazz-outs to moments like Sailor Venus Hits Something, Queen Beryl Is Scary, and Serena And Darien Totally Kiss For Like Five Minutes.
So let us relive those glory days of our childhood by celebrating some real Hidden Gems . . . and no, ladies, I don't mean the Imperium Silver Crystal. ;]
